Conduct and Ethics Code at Neck on the Line Jewellery Limited

Grounded in the ETI Base Code: This ethical code is built on the ETI base code, which lays out international labor standards that Neck on the Line Jewellery Limited and its suppliers are expected to follow and do follow. We pledge to uphold these principles and to see that workers throughout our supply chain are treated fairly and ethically.

10. Supplier and Partner Relationships: Our chosen suppliers and partners are those who hold ethical values and standards matching our own. We build relationships that benefit both sides, resting on trust, fairness and respect.

11. No Sourcing from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR): We confirm that we neither work with nor buy anything from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR), so that our operations stay clear of any link to human rights abuses or forced labor concerns. Forced labor of any kind, such as prison, indentured or bonded labor, must never feature in their supply chain. Within our supply chain, that also means workers' citizenship documents are never held back, and suppliers carry the cost of every worker's employment eligibility fees, recruitment fees included.

12. Working Hours and Fair Labor Practices: Our pledge covers fair labor practices and suitable working hours, both for our own staff and for suppliers. How we manage working hours follows principles described within the code.

13. Safe Working Environments: Neck on the Line Jewellery Limited treats safety as vital. Suppliers must provide secure, hygienic workplaces, prevent accidents and put the well-being of employees first. Such dedication builds trust and a sense of responsibility.

14. No Child Labour: Child labor in any form is met with zero tolerance, and we make sure legal minimum age rules are followed.

15. No Harassment or Abuse: Harassment or abuse of any kind is met with zero tolerance, so that the workplace remains respectful and dignified.

16. Regular Review and Updates: This ethical code will be revisited and refreshed on a regular basis, keeping it in step with changing ethical standards and with what our stakeholders need.
